FAQs

Do you offer video or phone sessions?
Yes. If you travel frequently, are super busy, or just prefer having therapy in the privacy and comfort of your own home, we can make that happen.
You don't accept insurance! Why?
Simply put, I want to offer you the best possible experience. I don’t want to spend my time justifying why you may or may not need therapy.

I prefer to invest that energy into working with you on solutions. My goal is to equip you with the tools that will have you back on track quicker than I can get an insurance company to return a phone call.

The need for a diagnosis, throws another wrench in the process. There are many circumstances in every season of life that warrant seeking therapy.

Although these issues make life very chaotic and temporarily unmanageable, they often don’t meet the criteria of a diagnosable mental illness. This can be pretty tricky, not to mention the potential self- defeating nature of “labels.”

What are your fees?

My standard rate is $150 for a 50-minute session.
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy is $200 for a 90-minute session.

What types of payment do you accept?
Cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancelling your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled time will result in being charged the full session fee. That said, I do get that life happens. Please talk to me if you have extenuating circumstances.
Do you have any self-help tips?
I do. Here are a few that you can begin today:

Start a gratitude journal. Every evening reflect on your day and write three things you are grateful for. It’s virtually impossible to harbor negativity and gratitude simultaneously. Give it a try and see for yourself.

Breathe. Practice long, slow, deep inhales followed by longer, slower exhales. Breathing is the simplest and fastest way to calm your body and mind. And it’s free and always available to you.
